We are thrilled to welcome you to the 50th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IECON), taking place from November 3-6, 2024, in the dynamic city of Chicago, USA. It is an honor to have you join us for this landmark event.

 

Chicago, a city celebrated for its architectural brilliance and cultural richness, stands as the perfect backdrop for our golden anniversary. Known for its pioneering spirit in industrial innovation and technology, Chicago is home to groundbreaking research institutions and is a hub for advancements in manufacturing, electronics, renewable energy, and automation. With easy access through O'Hare International and Midway International Airports, and a comprehensive public transportation system including the iconic 'L' train, Chicago offers a seamless experience for our attendees.

 

As we celebrate half a century of progress, collaboration, and innovation, IECON 2024 marks a significant milestone. Our theme, "Celebrating Innovation, Inspiring the Future," reflects our dedication to honoring the achievements of the past while charting a course for future breakthroughs. From smart grids and power electronics to robotics and artificial intelligence, the field of industrial electronics continues to evolve, and this conference serves as a platform to showcase and discuss these transformative developments.
